Eddie Barker first took up his
joinery tools at the age of 15, when he began his joinery apprenticeship with a
local building company. He vividly remembers his first day at work; arriving at
the yard and being told “Get up on the back of that lorry lad” and was driven
away – not knowing where he was going or what he was doing! 45 years later, Eddie laughs and says that sometimes he feels the same way now. What is certain is that for the last 30 years, he has successfully developed and guided B&C Joinery Services from a small company, with himself and several other joiners ‘on the tools’ to the company it is today. |
